Today's production... greek biscuits

Today I made lovely greek biscuits, scented with mastic (from Hios island) and lemon zest. Buttery and crunchy, with intense taste. Mastic is produced in Hios island, located in the northeast Aegean sea. A unique tree called Mastihodendro (Mastic-tree) "tears" this unique product from the tree's trunk. Known from the years of Ippokrates, mastic is healing stomach pains, gastric ulcers and it is anticeptic. Is sold natural, and refined in powder. Known for it's amazing smell is widely used in Greece in baking and pastry..
